Well, there was this one time…..
I was only 4. It was a week or so after I lost my mother. I was in one of my meltdowns, which at the time I had daily, and I think Aunt GLaDOS was out of ideas. So she just kind of picked me up and put me on top of her.

Simple. When I got older, Aunt GLaDOS finally gave me a map. She hardly ever moves the rooms unless their testing chambers.
